I am delighted to announce that whisky, wine and dinner dates are back as of today, 11th October in NSW.
Let me show you my favourite bars and restaurants. I will be available in Sydney and I will be touring regional NSW and interstate as soon as the restrictions ease.

Musical Adoration
Music is one of my pure, unadulterated loves.
I have had the pleasure of music being a large part of my life from childhood. I was lucky to grow up with parents who loved a wide range of music (and audiobooks) and I was exposed to a variety of styles and eras under their influence. I was brought up with the sounds of Diana Ross and The Supremes, REM, Gilbert and Sullivan operas, Stevie Wonder, The Ink Spots, George Benson, Talking Heads, The Jackson 5, Marvin Gaye, Bob Marley…
I now travel regularly interstate to go to concerts and work this in with my work touring schedule. This is one of the joyful aspects of my work, being self employed and being able to set your own schedule.
Recently I have rediscovered my love of dance music, particularly drum and bass (dnb or drum n bass) which was a musical style I discovered in my late teens and early twenties. The rediscovery has been prompted by a reintroduction of running into my life. Since moving to the heart of the city of Sydney and having the Botanical Gardens as my local running park, I have dedicated more time towards running and running to upbeat and fast music. I have always found that drum and bass helps me to do whatever I am doing faster and gives me ample motivation and running is no exception.
Below is a few of the tracks I have been listening to of late:
Inja- Be my cure
Logistics- Levitate
Lakeway- War dub
Camo & Crooked- Loa
Polaris- Kessel Run
Urbandawn- Come together
Kings of the Rollers-
Inja- She just wanna dance
BOP- Take it off
I also have a deep love of esoteric dub and spatial music, from the music of Nils Frahm to Ben Frost and I throughly enjoy downtempo ambient chill out music.
No matter what music you are into, rest assured we can enjoy it in a booking together, next time request a musical style and we can explore that, and each other, together.
Quiet on the Western Front- Tallula Darling's reaction to legislational changes & recent cultural activities
I have not felt the inclination to write recently. There have been seismic shifts in my industry that have kept me from wanting to fill the pages of my blog with annoyance, frustration and fear.

One of the joys of touring, which in my case, is supported by cultural activities and interests, is that you have time to participate in activities which you might not factor into your every day where you live. Few things tickle my fancy as much as cultural events and activities, which have been a constant in my life for many years.
